We are currently seeking to hire a partly qualified accountant with a determined focus on a professional career for the post of Audit Executive to form part of a team of auditors whose role is to audit the financial statements of a number of Maltese companies. The post calls for a highly organized and motivated individual who is currently studying for his or her ACCA qualification. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in an audit environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, whilst reporting to the senior auditor and/or manager in charge. Good command of both written and spoken English is a must. Speaking and understanding Italian will be considered an asset.
Duties
- Working with the senior auditor and manager to plan the audit
- Preparing the necessary schedules and workings to complete the audit
- Reviewing of financial statements, assessing accounts for accuracy and completion and report on findings
- Drafting of audited financial statements
- Attending and participating in meetings with the client
- Completing the audit report
