On the 20th July 2018, ACT held its second annual day conference for its members of staff at the Westin Dragonara Resort St. Julian’s. Three key note speakers were invited. Dr. Karl Sammut spoke about Malta’s plans of being a block chain island, while Mr. Nicholas Gatt delivered a presentation on accounting for gaming companies. The third key note speaker was Dr. Gottfried Catania who spoke about stress and the importance of managing one’s stress. Other topics discussed during the seminar included taxation of income derived from immovable property, GAPSME, taxation of employment income and VAT Grouping in Malta.
