The Commissioner for Revenue announced that the Tax Deferral Scheme has been extended to cover taxes which fall due up to and including  30th  June 2020. The settlement date is still to be announced in the future.

The Tax Deferral Scheme applies to Provisional Tax, VAT, Maternity Fund Contributions and National Insurance Contributions on salaries. Both companies and the self- employed can benefit from this scheme and the deadline for the submission of applications is the 15th May 2020.
