On the 27th August 2020, Malta Enterprise has launched the Electricity Bill Refund Scheme whereby businesses eligible for the Wage Supplement Scheme can now benefit from an assistance of 50% of the electrical power bills for the months of July, August and September 2020. The benefit is capped at Eur1,500 per applicant having one outlet. For those businesses with multiple outlets, the capping is of Eur7,500 depending on the number of employees receiving the wage supplement scheme as follows:
