The Malta Business Registry has just informed practitioners that the declaration by the directors that must be attached with the financial statements to be filed in accordance with Regulation 64 (1) of the Merchant Shipping (Shipping Organisations – Private Companies) Regulations can be found online on the MBR Online Portal. The said declaration can be filed by small companies that do not meet certain thresholds in lieu of the directors’ report.
