The Minister of Finance and Employment has on the 28th October 2024 presented the Budget Speech for the year 2025.

The Government will be enacting legislation to continue to increase Malta’s attractiveness in the financial services industry, particularly in relation to family offices, AI, fintech and leasing of aircrafts.

New legislation is planned for 2025 in relation to Limited Partnerships.

A visa for esports athletes will be introduced during 2025 to facilitate their relocation to Malta.
