The company is pleased to announce the following three appointments.
Christabel Spiteri has been appointed director of the company after having followed the necessary procedures with the MFSA. The MFSA has after a thorough procedure, approved the company’s nomination for Christabel to be appointed director of the company. The MFSA were satisfied that Christabel met a number of criteria as stipulated in the Rule Book applicable to CSPs including that of training, competence, time commitment, reputation, conflict of interest and independence of mind. Christabel is a Certified Public Accountant and has extensive experience in both accounting and audit matters. Christabel has since 2021 been managing the company’s audit section. Christabel joined ACT in March of 2016. The effective date of Christabel’s appointment is 30th June 2022.
Graziella Vella has been appointed Senior Manager of the company. Graziella has over the past 7 years been instrumental in managing the Accounting section of the company. Graziella is a Certified Public Accountant and has extensive experience in both accounting and audit matters, having worked in these two areas for 20 years. She has assisted a number of clients, both local and international to comply with their accounting and other statutory requirements. Graziella joined ACT in May of 2015. The effective date of Graziella’s appointment is 1st July 2022.
Josephine Borg has been appointed Senior Manager of the company. Josephine has over the past 2.5 years managed the company’s Tax Section, dealing with various local and cross border tax issues. Josephine is a Certified Public Accountant and has extensive experience in direct taxation, having assisted a number of clients, both local and international in their tax compliance matters. Josephine joined ACT in January of 2020. The effective date of Josephine’s appointment is 1st July 2022.
The above appointments will continue to strengthen the management of the company which has seen extensive growth over the past years having increased its staff complement to thirty, becoming one of the leading accounting firms, Corporate Services Provider and Tax Advisory firm on the island. We are confident that through the new appointments, the firm will continue to expand its operations as we are looking forward to realise our well thought out plans to meet our clients’ needs over the next decade.
