Stephen Balzan, Tax Partner ACT was invited as a guest speaker to speak at a day conference, organised by Society Education. Stephen delivered a presentation on the recent tax updates in Malta’s income tax legislation including the Budget Measures Implementation Act 2014, new Legal Notices issued this year and new double taxation agreements which were either signed or entered into force during the year 2014. Stephen also spoke about two new Bills which were published this year which have not yet been enacted in Parliament together with two recent judgments delivered by the Administrative Review Tribunal.
