The post calls for a highly organized and motivated individual who is currently studying for his or her ACCA qualification. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in an audit environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, whilst reporting to the senior auditor and\/or manager in charge. Good command of both written and spoken English is a must. Speaking and understanding Italian will be considered an asset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Working with the senior auditor and manager to plan the audit<\/li><li>Preparing the necessary schedules and workings to complete the audit<\/li><li>Reviewing of financial statements, assessing accounts for accuracy and completion and report on findings<\/li><li>Drafting of audited financial statements<\/li><li>Attending and participating in meetings with the client<\/li><li>Completing the audit report<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong><strong>Skills<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Ability to work without supervision<\/li><li>Attention to detail<\/li><li>Excellent time management skills<\/li><li>Handling confidential information\u00a0<\/li><li>Performing work under pressure<\/li><li>Solid understanding of GAPSME and IFRS\u00a0<\/li><li>Strong prioritization and organization skills<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are currently seeking to hire a partly qualified accountant with a determined focus on a professional career for the post of Audit Executive to form part of a team of auditors whose role is to audit the financial statements of a number of Maltese companies.
