Minister Clyde Caruana has on the 11th October 2021 presented the Government’s budget for the year 2022.
Cost of living adjustment will be Eur1.75 per week. Which will be applicable to all employees, pensioners and those entitled to social benefits. Students receiving stipends will also benefit from a pro rata increase. Pensions will also be increasing by Eur5 per week of which Eur175 relates to the COLA.
