The Government of Malta has issued Legal Notice 147 of 2020 which provides for a two-month deferral for the payment of excise duties falling due in April or May. The LN provides that excise duty on excise goods and services payable during the months of April and May 2020 according to the Excise Duty Act can be paid by not later than 60 days after the due date, i.e. by not later than 28th June and 26th July 2020 respectively.
