Residency Malta Agency, in collaboration with Malta Enterprise, has launched the Startup Residence Programme, a programme aimed at non-EU nationals wanting to take up residency in Malta based on innovative business start-ups in Malta. These business people will be granted with a three-year residence permit, renewable once for a period of 5 years, to a maximum of 8 years.

Founders/co-founders, core employees and respective immediate family members are all eligible for this programme.

Beneficiaries of this programme are required to provide proof of their physical presence in Malta, including but not limited to rented/purchased property in Malta.

All those granted residency on the basis of this programme will be paying taxes locally.

For more detailed information about this programme, we invite you to send an email to Liana Falzon on [email protected] who is the manager in charge of the firm’s private clients section.
