The Crowdfunding Service Providers Bill reached its second reading stage in Parliament on the 28th June, 2023 and was on the 5th July 2023 discussed at the Adjunct Committee for the Consideration of Bills. This aim of the Bill is to propose legislation to implement the provisions of EU Regulation number 2020/1503 on European crowdfunding service providers for business and it provides for the establishment of a regulatory framework for crowdfunding service providers (“CSPs”) for business, including the organisation, authorisation and supervision of such CSPs.
